Born Hồ Mạnh Dũng in Vietnam, Don Hồ rose to prominence in the 1990s through performances in the Vietnamese diaspora music scene, particularly in the United States. He became widely recognized through appearances in major Vietnamese variety shows and music productions such as Thúy Nga Productions’s Paris by Night, where his charismatic stage presence and emotional delivery quickly earned him a devoted following.
